Here’s how it works:

• Virtual users from Home office:

MXIE software runs on your computer. You can have a telephone at home or a softphone (looks like a cell phone that plugs into computer with USB). When you log on our receptionist can see your Green light showing you’re available.

Incoming call to your business:

• Receptionist answers as you like
• Sees your status on the MXIE board (available, on phone, out…)
• If available she calls you on your extension, announces the call and puts it through

• Virtual and Office clients at client site, traveling, etc.:
• Use call handling rules to forward calls to your cell phone. 

• Receptionist answers and calls your extension, it rings to your cell phone, she announces the call and puts it through.

Other VoIP functions:
